European football begins in earnest this week. After a long qualifying period came to a conclusion a fortnight ago, those who were successful in progressing start their group stage campaigns in the Champions League and Europa League across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night. Easy Winner – evens (Sky Bet)
- Over 1.5 goals in Tottenham v Monaco (1/3) – Tottenham start their Champions League with a tough match against Monaco. The match, played at Wembley, could go either way but whatever the final result there should be plenty of goals.
- Real Madrid to beat Sporting (2/9) – The defending champions have been given a relatively straightforward first game. Nobody really expects Real Madrid to pass up this opportunity to bag their first three points.
- Inter to beat Hapoel Be’er Sheva (1/4) – Inter have made a pig’s ear of their start to the domestic season but the first game of their Europa League campaign gives them a great chance to win against a very average Hapoel Be’er Sheva team.

- Benfica to beat Besiktas (4/6) – Benfica have a very good European pedigree and this current team will be looking to get out of the group stage at the very least. Besiktas have some quality players but they look set to fall short at Estadio da Luz.
- Borussia Dortmund to beat Legia Warsaw to nil (6/5) – Legia Warsaw have done very well to make it to the Champions League proper but they are going to find the going very tough. Legia’s first task is to take on a Dortmund team who have looked very good in the early stages of the Bundesliga. Dortmund are clear favourites to win and should do so without a goal being put past Roman Wiedenfeller.
- Leicester to beat Club Brugge (6/4) – It still looks a little strange seeing Leicester in the list of Champions League matches but the team have to prove they are up to the challenge of raising their game when they take on Club Brugge on Wednesday. The Foxes are the underdogs in this competition but that’s a billing they thrive under so it would be no great shock to see them start their European adventure with a bang.

- Monaco to beat Tottenham (21/5) – There will be a strange atmosphere at Wembley when Tottenham take on Monaco. If the Spurs players don’t settle in to their new surroundings, this Monaco team has all the ability to claim a win against the odds.
- Bayern Munich to beat FK Rostov and both teams to score (2/1) – Bayern are priced at incredibly short odds to beat FK Rostov and for good reasons. However, the Russian side are set to make a mark on the Champions League and could stun their hosts by scoring at the Allianz Arena.
- Feyenoord to beat Manchester United (15/4) – Jose Mourinho has been clear that he will play a heavily rotated team in the Europa League. If that weakens Manchester United too much Feyenoord – who have started this season brilliantly – could just claim a surprise win.
