No matter if your team has had a good, bad or indifferent start to the season there is no escaping the relentless nature of the Premier League. The work may be tough on the players but it is great for fans and punters. So, without further ado, here are the three accumulators we feel will give you the best chance of profiting from the Premier League football this weekend.
Easy Winner – 7/5 (Sky Bet)
- Manchester City to beat Bournemouth (30/100) – City had a strange midweek with the postponement of their game against Borussia Monchengladbach for a day but they are experienced and good enough to get over that and beat Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
- Over 1.5 goals in West Brom v West Ham (2/5) – Two teams in desperate need of a win meet at the Hawthorns on Saturday. There will be a great deal of tension but when West Ham play you can all but guarantee goals.
- Tottenham to beat Sunderland (1/3) – Sunderland’s long-suffering fans hoped this season would be different. It certainly doesn’t look that way and there should be more misery on the cards after Sunday’s match against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Medium Risk – 9/2 (BetVictor)
- Over 1.5 first half goals in Chelsea v Liverpool (31/20) – Chelsea and Liverpool will each want to land an early blow on their rivals when they meet at Stamford Bridge. There have been goals in the first half of every Liverpool game this season, a trend which should continue on Friday night.
- Leicester to beat Burnley (4/7) – Leicester have not yet hit the heights of last season’s performances. But, after getting a taste of the Champions League they’ll want to ensure they return towards the top of the Premier League table. That will give them all the motivation required to beat Burnley who are without a win in three games in all competitions.
- Arsenal to beat Hull (4/7) – Arsenal showed an impressive battling spirit to come back from a goal down to draw with PSG in midweek. That sort of fight will be important when they seek to break down this stubborn Hull side at the KCOM Stadium.
Long Shot – 95/1 (Bet365)
- Michail Antonio to score against West Brom (13/5) – Antonio may not have got a game after being called up for England but he scored two more goals for West Ham at the weekend. The big winger is a massive threat in the air and he could well come up with the goods once more at the Hawthorns.
- Southampton and Swansea to draw (14/5) – Neither Southampton nor Swansea have been particularly impressive in the Premier League so far. The Saints go into Sunday’s game as the favourites but having played Sparta Prague on Thursday, the Swans can grab a point by exposing any tiredness in the home team.
- Watford to beat Manchester United (6/1) – Watford were excellent against West Ham last weekend and will be right up for this one at home. They’ve got a great combination of skill, aggression and organisation and could just grab a win against the odds.
