With Euro 2016 almost over, the number of games for us to watch is starting to dwindle. It won’t be too long before we’re be back to focusing on the Premier League and other domestic leagues, with the Euros set to finish up this week. Before that we have the semis to enjoy, and they are two huge games. Wales are up against Portugal, while hosts France face world champions Germany.
Alongside those matches, we’ve picked out a few extra games from around the world. We’re looking to find this week’s best BTTS bets, and we’ve included some MLS and Europa League action. Both of those competitions are well known for goals, and we’re expecting them to live up to that reputation. With not too much happening outside of the Euros, a BTTS bet could really enhance your interest on games taking pace around the world. If you’re looking to do that, then here are our tips for the next few days.
Tuesday 5th July 2016
- FC Dallas v Orlando City (4/6 with Coral) – While FC Dallas are flying high in their conference, they have a habit of conceding goals. Orlando have a decent attacking record on the road, and we see them getting a goal here.
- Colorado Rapids v Portland Timbers (4/5 with Sky Bet) – Defending champions Portland are having a tough season because they concede too many on the road. They let potential victories slip to draws, and they’ve scored and conceded in their last 10 away games.
- LA Galaxy v Vancouver Whitecaps (4/6 with Bet365) – These two sides are struggling for points, but not goals. Galaxy have hit 18 in eight home games, while Vancouver have 14 on the road already. Given how strong they are going forward, we’re backing BTTS.
Wednesday 5th July 2016
- FC Infonet v Hearts (17/20 with Betfair) – Hearts had a strong season in the SPL last year, but it’s not that long since they were in the Championship. Things are stepping up awfully quickly for them, and they might not have it all their own way in Estonia on Wednesday.
- Portugal v Wales (5/4 with Betfair) – The Welsh are heading into their biggest ever game, with both of these sides packed with goals. Two of the tournament’s top scorers are going head to head, so we fully expect both teams to score.
Thursday 6th July 2016
- New England Revolution v New York City (4/6 with Sky Bet) – There’s a big gap between these two in the table, but New England are always good for a goal at home. NYC FC have a poor defensive record on the road, and that’s why we’re going with both teams scoring in this one.
- Germany v France (11/10 with Betfair) – After the performances from these two in the quarters, we’re backing BTTS. France hit five past Iceland, while Germany conceded for the first time. The French continue to look poor at the back, and we can see this being a very open clash.
