The first tranche of nations have now booked their places in the Round of 16 at the Euros, with more teams looking to join them on Tuesday and Wednesday. Just who will upset the odds to sneak though and will we see any major sides making early exits?
The Belgians and Portuguese could well go out this week. It’s now or never for nations who haven’t yet qualified, which we’re hoping leads to some open matches. Here we’ve looked across the remaining group fixtures and the upcoming Copa America games to pick out the best both teams to score tips. - Spain v Croatia (6/5 with Coral) – Spain are a tough side to beat defensively, but they have nothing to play for in this game. They’re already through, so expect to see a weakened side. Croatia should push them, but they need to worry about their leaky defence. It’s a tough game to back a winner on, but all evidence points towards BTTS.
- Czech Republic v Turkey (10/11 with Betfair) – These two sides were awful at the back in their last game. Neither seems to have much solidity, they let the game pass right by them. The Czechs may have fought back at the end, but that doesn’t help their defensive problems. We expect an open game, with both to score great value.

- USA v Argentina (evens with Sky Bet) – The first Copa America semi is a tough game for the hosts against the favourites. Argentina do tend to be open at the back, while the US will have strong home support. They might not go through, but the hosts should get a goal at least.
- Iceland v Austria (21/20 with Coral) – Iceland have drawn 1-1 in their two games so far, and a third wouldn’t surprise us. It’s basically all they need to go through, and neither of these two look very solid at the back.
- Portugal v Hungary (6/4 with Betfair) – Hungary will be full of confidence ahead of this game, while Portugal need to step up. Hungary have little to lose, and we see them pushing forward and hurting this Portuguese defence. Iceland showed it could be done, and Hungary can do the same so both teams to score is top value here at huge odds.
- Sweden v Belgium (21/20 with Coral) – Belgium need to win this to be sure of a place in the next round. Sweden can leapfrog the Belgians and qualify but they have to win. Their time for sitting back is over. They should be more adventurous here, and that’s why we see both sides scoring.
- Republic of Ireland v Italy (11/10 with Bet365) – Italy have an incredibly strong defence, but they won’t be involved here. With the group already won, the Italians are kicking back and rotating for this game. That’s why we’re backing Ireland to get on the scoresheet so back BTTS at 11/10.
