There were some stunning games in the Premier League last weekend (there was also Middlesbrough v Hull). But the time for viewing highlights is over. It’s now time for yet another weekend of action in the top flight. With so many markets, picking your bets can be a little overwhelming. So, let us do the work for you. You’ll find three accas with increasing odds below so take your pick of whichever tickles your fancy.
Easy Winner – 21/20 (BetVictor)
- Arsenal to beat Stoke (1/3) – Stoke are hardly the most forward thinking side on their travels. Mark Hughes likes his team to sit deep and hit on the break. That’s worked against some sides but is a recipe for defeat against this in-form Arsenal team.
- Over 1.5 goals in Leicester v Man City (2/9) – Man City need to bounce back following their defeat against Chelsea last weekend. Even without Sergio Aguero they’ve got the firepower to put a couple past the struggling defending champions.
- Chelsea to beat West Brom (1/4) – With three wins in four, West Brom are in very good form. That run is sure to end at Stamford Bridge where Chelsea are overwhelming favourites to bag their ninth straight win.
Medium Risk – 6/1 (Sky Bet)
- Under 2.5 goals in Hull v Crystal Palace (8/11) – Crystal Palace finally bagged a win last weekend but they were gifted two goals by Southampton at Selhurst Park. With Hull unlikely to be so generous, this relegation scrap is unlikely to be a high scoring affair.
- Goal in both halves of Man United v Tottenham (4/5) – Man United once again let a winning position slip in their draw against Everton on the weekend. The Red Devils are finding it hard to put together two good halves of football so Spurs are sure to have a spell on top at Old Trafford. Expect goals in both halves.
- Liverpool to beat West Ham and over 3.5 goals (11/8) – There’s not a strong case to be made for either Liverpool or West Ham’s defence. When the two teams meet at Anfield, the attacking players will be in the ascendancy but the home side really should finish with three points.
Long Shot – 39/1 (Bet365)
- Watford and Everton to draw (23/10) – This is a game which both teams will feel they should win. However, it’s not going to be easy for either to come away with the three points so the draw looks the most likely outcome.
- Man United and Tottenham to draw (12/5) – Man United just cannot seem to hold onto leads at the moment. Spurs may have spanked Swansea on the weekend but they’ve been far from their best of late so three points at Old Trafford looks beyond them. A point, however, does not.
- Southampton and Middlesbrough to draw (13/5) – Southampton have been very up and down so far under Claude Puel. They seem to have struggled to cope with the added demands of the Europa League and having played a must win game against Hapoel Beer Sheva in midweek, it’ll be tough for them to get a win against Aitor Karanka’s well organised Middlesbrough outfit.
